GETTING TO KNOW US

Penrith and Eden Museum sits in the heart of Penrith and showcases some of the most beautiful treasures from the Eden Valley area. We aim to collect, preserve and display material that reflects the history and culture of Penrith and Eden. The museum is in a listed building that dates from around 1670 that was once the home of Robinsons School, named after a successful Grocer and Merchant who opened the school for girls from low-income families. The museum is owned and ran by Eden District Council.
